After a long wait the world cup finally arrived. Everything was so exciting untill England showed how pathetic they played and rightly kicked out by zee Germans but hey, we are used to getting beat at the world cup by them and give them the honour of winning something (not going to mention wars here). A visit to the Amerikan Hastanesi yesterday turned out to be much, much more than I bargained for. I had taken my wife to register her for our imminent arrival and have a chat with the anaesthetist about the range of drugs available for childbirth. This went pretty smoothly and we had a tour of the facilities and were impressed with what was on offer.
