Tax office - Garanti bank - cars and civil servants and Turkish governance

... sucks big time.I have been paying my road tax from G.bank website for 8 years. Turns out the the amount is more than the amount that comes up when I enter the number plate on the website... now been served a bill for nearly 7000YTL. Furthermore, they can not decide engin size of car. 3 days of standing around at traffic police, tax offices etc and end result: Pay the money, then try to resolve...
all of this on the eve of a 4 week trip home...
