Property help in Bodrum

Hi,

This is for an acquaintance's mother who is having a bit of trouble.

She wanted to sell her house in Bitez, gave deeds and power-of-attorney to a 'friend' and has now learned that the friend may have used the house as security on loans. She's in Ireland btw. She's terrified she could lose the house.

I think she needs a lawyer, so does anyone have any recommendations?

Does anyone have any experience of this kind of situation. Any words of advice much appreciated...
(Other than the bleedin' obvious: don't give deeds and power-of-attorney to anyone dodgy :blink
