Pronet Güvenlik- Heads UP

I got a call from a number that, when I researched it via the internet, turned out to be Pronet Güvenlik http://www.pronet.com.tr/pronet_guve...tleri/iletisim - a home/office security company.

The guy talked to me in Turkish, bad English and then Turkish again. Basically, he was trying to sell me on the security system idea and I was telling him that his time is wasted with me. Who wants a 30 year old acoustic guitar and a 10-year old cat?

He then said, "OKay. Your name is ----- ----- and your address is ----- ----- (and he was right). Don't worry, we will talk again." He then hung up.

I immediately called the company and filed a complaint with them. I told them that I felt threatened by that phone call and that if any monkey business happens with my apartment, I will be giving the police their name as the first suspects to pursue. I further instructed them that they were to erase my contact information from their database and never to call me again.

Let's hope that did it. But I thought you all should know this. Maybe if you get that call, you could start it off with "erase me from your list".
