I tried and failed, and read up on it on the official website. Some of the above ideas may work, but I can say with certainty that the government's intention seems to be that you can only get one if you "are Turkish." (I'm married to a Turk, tried the "but I want to show my half-Turkish son his heritage" line and it didn't work).

It was definitely easier last year. Thanks for the on-line idea, Starfish. Hope it works!
