Taking cats to Greece, then on to the UK

Hi

I don't know if anyone has done this, but I'm desperate and wondering if anyone has taken thier cats from Turkey to Greece before.
If I take my cats (2) straight to the UK from Istanbul, they say I have to keep them in quarantine for 6months, which costs £6.50 a day- so 6months would cost more than £1.500 per cat and thats without vets stuff on top!

If I took them from Greece (and got them registered as cats from greece...which would include some small lies about where they are from!) Then they would be able to come straight to our new home with us.

To be honest we live on the fifth floor cati kati (roof top) so they have never come in to contact with other cats before therefore rabies is not a problem (they have had all their shots)

Please can anyone tell me if it is easy to get pets in to greece, (by ferry maybe)
