What was your first thought when your Baby was born?

... and what was your first thought when you learned your wife - not yet wife - girl you once spent a night with - was pregnant.

Now that Nr. 6 is due, as it seems, tomorrow, I feel some interesting things going on with me. And I think back to how it was with the others.

So I will offer my reactions to Nr. 1, 21 years ago:

Pregnancy: Oh no??? Dear me, let's handle it like a battle - no point in fleeing.

Birth: Gosh I'm not sure the woman will ever wake up again. As for this little bundle in my arms - if ever anyone dares speak as much as one ill word of her, I'll kill them.
